Why the Red Panda Trust?
The Red Panda Trust exists to unite global on the ground conservation organisations to protect the Red Panda throughout Asia. This creates an overarching body to support and guide the conservation programs for the Red Panda as well as providing funding for research and education initiative through numerous organisations. Founded in 2013 we are still a relatively new organisation, but our sights are set on a monumentous task, the conservation of the Red Panda.
We were founded by Wildlife Ecologist Emma Dale who has worked for Red Pandas in Nepal for over 5 years. While working in Nepal over this time period she has seen the wildlife trade spiral out of control and created the Red Panda Trust to protect the Red Panda. Read more about Emma's work here.
